County Tours & Historic Sites

Pierce County has a rich, fascinating history. In our county you’ll find historic mining, woodland, agricultural, milling and river sites, as well as educational, governmental, domestic and commercial buildings. Two agricultural sites, two educational buildings, one governmental building, one commercial building, and one home are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These sites are deemed worthy of preservation.
