Our many renowned artisans who call our backroads home invite travelers to stop in and enjoy the products of their handiwork. Cheese factories, hiking trails, festivals and historic sites and structures abound, with theater productions and spectacular fall color drives ready to satisfy any traveler's needs. Pierce County's beautiful backroads offer you a chance to relax and return to a slower pace.

Pierce County Partners in Tourism's showcases what lies behind the beauty of this area - limestone cliffs and outcroppings, spring-fed trout rivers and coulees (deep ravines), rolling hills and rich agricultural lands. Our ™ map lists ttractions, ctivities, gritourism, rts, ntiques, and ccommodations to be found and enjoyed throughout Pierce County. The Autumn Bounty™ map welcomes families to tour Pierce County during the beautiful fall season and partake of Pierce County’s tasty foods, down-home entertainment, children’s activities, arts and crafts, and abundant locally grown produce.
The map was originally created in 2006 through a Joint Effort Marketing (JEM) Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. It features the roads, topography of the area, and of course the many attractions, accomodations, recreation opportunities, and local businesses and artists' studios.
